Our Material Handling Division, including Mi-Jack RTG cranes, Broderson industrial cranes, Lift King forklifts, and Greenfield equipment, is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems and components used in material handling equipment. This position works closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to support engineering documentation, prototype development, manufacturing support, and product validation activities while ensuring compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and engineering best practices.

* Essential Functions:

• Technical Excellence: Demonstrate your extensive knowledge in electrical engineering by actively supporting the development of cutting-edge electrical systems, emphasizing lithium-ion battery technology and EV components.

• Collaborate closely with senior engineers to drive innovation.

• Project Engagement: Utilize your experience to play a vital role in all phases of electrical engineering projects, ensuring they progress smoothly from inception to production, meeting and exceeding project objectives.

• AutoCAD Electrical and Inventor Proficiency: Leverage your high proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and Inventor to create detailed electrical designs, schematics, and 3D models that meet stringent industry standards.

• System Integration: Contribute to the seamless integration of state-of-the-art electrical and CAN communication systems tailored for rugged off-road applications, leveraging your technical proficiency.

• Collaborative Teamwork: Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, service, and senior engineers, to ensure the successful execution of projects and the delivery of high-quality results.

• Professional Growth: Continuously develop your skills and knowledge through mentorship from experienced engineers, expanding your expertise and impact.

• Problem-Solving Expertise: Apply your problem-solving acumen and meticulous attention to detail to effectively troubleshoot electrical systems, actively participating in root cause analysis.

Work Environment:

This is primarily an office classification, and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. May work offsite in various environments. Up to 25% domestic travel may be required.

Physical Demands:

The position occasionally bends, stoops, reaches, pushes and pulls drawers to retrieve and file information and lifts and carries reports, records, and other materials that typically weigh less than 30 pounds.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

• 0 - 2 years of work experience in aforementioned engineering discipline.
