Key responsibility for Deputy Manager:

To ensure all drug product manufacturing processes meet current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

Documentation & Review: To review, approve, and oversee Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Packing Records (BPR), and QA documentation.

Operations & Production Support: Supervise day-to-day manufacturing, sampling activity, real time process monitoring, distribution, or laboratory processes to ensure output meets targets and quality standards. Must have experience of handling shop floor IPQA activity like Line clearance, Hold time activity, for the OSD, cream and liquid.

Audits: Coordinate internal self-inspections and prepare the facility for external regulatory inspections.

Validations & Release: Support equipment validation, process validation, and final product disposition

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), EMA and WHO guidelines, and standard operating procedures

Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and schedule department staff, stepping in for the primary manager when needed

Data & Reporting: Analyze operational metrics, review logs, and prepare reports for senior management.

Skills: Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (cGMP/EUGMP/WHO), problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with tools like Epicor or manufacturing software

Professional ability: Chemistry/ Biology/ Pharmacy (prefer pharmacist)

English: Good for speaking/ writing and listening
