1. Standard Costing Model

• Build and maintain a standard costing model for denim: fabric (yarn, dyeing, finishing), trims, CM (cut-make), laundry (chemicals, water, steam, electricity, laser/ozone minutes), packing, overheads and freight
• Update standard costs regularly based on actual consumption, prices and efficiency data

2. Cost per Piece & Order Profitability

• Calculate cost per piece and cost per minute (CPM) by style, order, customer and production line
• Compare pre-costing (quoted) vs. post-costing (actual) for every order and explain margin leakage
• Identify loss-making styles, customers or processes and propose corrective actions

3. Actual vs. Budget Reporting

• Produce the monthly actual vs. budget pack: material, labour, utilities, chemicals, maintenance and overheads
• Analyse price, usage and efficiency variances with clear management commentary
• Deliver the monthly cost pack by working day 7

4. Overhead Allocation & Utility Costing

• Allocate overheads fairly between the fabric mill, garment and laundry operations
• Track utility cost per kg of fabric and per wash recipe; support energy and water efficiency initiatives

5. Inventory Valuation

• Reconcile inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) with the Material Control & Liquidation team
• Value leftovers, excess stock and write-offs in line with accounting policies

6. Pricing Support, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Provide merchandising/sales with cost floors for customer quotations
• Run what-if analyses on key cost drivers: cotton price, wage increases, FX (VND/USD)
• Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts; set cost KPIs for department heads

7. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and group/IFRS reporting requirements
• Support internal and external audits with accurate costing documentation

Yêu cầu công việc

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in garment, textile or denim
• Proven experience with per-order pre/post costing, CPM and variance reporting
• Nice to have: experience costing denim laundry processes (chemicals, water, steam, laser/ozone)

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of SAM/SMV, CPM, line efficiency and BOM-based costing
• Strong knowledge of VAS; working knowledge of IFRS and group reporting
• Advanced Excel and Power BI; hands-on experience with ERP costing modules
• Fluent English for reporting to an international CEO; Vietnamese for working with the factory floor

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CMA, ACCA or CPA certification is preferred
