The Compliance Engineer is a vital member of the Quality and Engineering team, plays a critical role in ensuring all products and processes comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. The members strive to create a culture of compliance by providing guidance, training, and support to all employees, as well as establishing robust monitoring and reporting mechanisms.

1. Compliance Management:

• Join New product introduction, collaborate with all departments to integrate compliance considerations and communicate compliance requirements to vendors.

• Stay informed of current and upcoming furniture regulations and Ashley requirements applicable to products in target markets.

• Perform material compliance audits.

• Investigate and troubleshoot identified compliance deviations, implementing corrective actions.

2. Testing and Documentation:

• Manage new product initial testing and annual testing for inline items with vendors.

• Oversee the preparation of testing samples, liaise with testing labs and ensure timely completion of testing procedures.

• Review and analyze test reports, identifying any non-compliance issues.

• Maintain system, documentation and database related to compliance activities including test reports, certifications, law licenses, and regulatory approvals.

3. Continuous Improvement:

• Assist in researching regulations.

• Recommend improvements to internal compliance processes and procedures.

• Participate in training programs to maintain knowledge and expertise in relevant regulations and testing standards.

Yêu cầu công việc

1. Education

• College's degree and above; Major in English, Law preferred.

2. Experience

• At least 1 year of experience related of Compliance Engineer in Furniture industry.

3. Skills and Abilities

• Understanding of regulations to target markets

• Documentation management skill

• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Effective communication skills

• Proficient in English.
