Commercial Finance Analyst

A. JOB PURPOSE:

Commercial Finance plays a critical role as a bridge between the Commercial function (Sales) and senior management by providing processed insights from credit proposals and financial analysis. This information enables management to make well-informed credit approval decisions and adjust sales strategies to optimize overall business performance.

Collaborate and coordinate with internal stakeholders and strategic partners such as banks, investment funds, and financial solution providers to develop and implement tailored financing packages and credit products that support customers in addressing financial difficulties.

B. ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Commercial finance analysis and credit assessment

- Process and analyze information in credit proposals to support appropriate credit approval decisions.

- Perform financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, and data interpretation to support senior management and Commercial teams in business decision-making.

- Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Legal, Credit, and other functional teams to gather, validate, and process information.

- Work with strategic partners to develop tailored financing packages and credit products for customers.

C. RESULTS:

- Provide timely, clear, and reliable processed financial and credit information to senior management.

- Support well-informed credit approval decisions and sales adjustments to optimize overall business performance.

- Contribute to suitable financial solutions that help customers address financial difficulties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, or equivalent.

​EXPERIENCES:

- Minimum two years of experience in corporate financial and credit analysis within either a corporate environment or a banking institution.

- Experience in processing and evaluating data, as well as analyzing and assessing a company’s business operations and financial performance.

- Experience working cross-functionally with internal departments such as Sales, Legal, Credit, and other functional teams to gather, validate, and process information.

COMPETENCIES:

- Basic understanding of sales and production processes, credit policy, and animal value chain is an advantage.

- Ability to translate requirements from Commercial teams and other stakeholders into financial metrics, and communicate those requirements clearly and precisely.

- Strong ability in financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, and interpreting data in a logical and detailed manner.

- Basic knowledge of banking products and operations is an advantage; good market/business acumen and flexibility in handling situations.

- Can-do attitude; helping/collaboration; progressive spirit; critical thinking; dynamic mindset.

- Good oral and written communication skills; good Excel and Power BI skills; flexibility and adaptability in balancing the interests of relevant stakeholders.

LANGUAGES:

- Good communication in English and Vietnamese.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Willing to travel frequently; good communication with customers; proactively prioritize deadlines at work.
