Business Innovation Analytics Supervisor

I. Job Summary:

Be responsible for analyses on portfolio performance management, visualizing business trends and suggesting strategic actions; be a coordinator for new set-up in system relating to business strategic topics; be responsible for data modeling to forecast existing customers for up/cross-selling purpose.

II. Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Analyze on portfolio performance:

• Understand business processes, systems and business challenges to study data readiness of portfolio performance, then build data mart and develop reports, analyses in regard of performance trends.

• Visualize results of data analyses; based on that, recommend strategic actions towards business opportunities or overcoming challenges or enhancements.

• Automate the periodical analyses; and perform ad-hoc analyses and market research in a timely manner to support key strategic projects.

2. Efficient communication on reporting and system set-up:

• Regularly communicate with respective cross-functions involved in the loan initiation and maintenance to understand business insights then producing the outputs through the analytics pack.

• Provide comprehensive guideline and explanation when necessary to business users on relevant MIS reports and analyses.

3. Data modeling to predict behaviors of existing customers:

• Develop new data model by provided tools of company; focused topics on the existing customers to increase up/cross-sell volume or other purposes defined upon department’s assignment.

• Frequently validate those model and upgrade when necessary.

1. Qualification

• University degree in MIS/Information System, Data Science, Business

Analytics, IT & Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics,

Econometrics, Economics or related fields.

2. Work Experience

• Experience in Risk analytics, Data analytics, Credit scoring analysis or

Database programming in banking or consumer finance industry with

practical usage of analytical, database programming tools (SAS,

Oracle, SQL or other database management systems.

3. Knowledge

• Strong at analytic skills; experience users of SAS, Oracle, MySQL, or

similar language; experience in data modelling of R, Python, SAS is a

plus.

• Experience in banking/consumer finance is required.

• Experience in Card and/or Car products is a plus.

4. Skills

• Efficient verbal and written communication skills in English and

Vietnamese.

• Numerical & analytical sense: ability to tackle a problem by using a

logical, systematic, sequential approach.

• Computer skills: advanced user of excel, power point.

• Ability to work under pressure, agile to changes, self-driven and

continuous improvement.

• Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
