KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review ITB/RFQ requirements, prepare bid checklists, and coordinate complete tender documentation.

• Coordinate with Technical, Procurement, Finance, and Sales to prepare compliant and competitive bids.

• Request supplier quotations and purchase costs; prepare commercial proposals including cost calculation, pricing, margin, freight, duty, and VAT.

• Coordinate Bid Bond / Performance Bond requirements and ensure timely submission.

• Submit bids through online portals or hard copy in compliance with tender requirements and deadlines; handle Bid Clarifications (TBC/CBC) with relevant departments.

• Review key contract terms, including payment, delivery, warranty, and INCOTERMS, and flag potential risks.

• Coordinate the handover of awarded contracts to Procurement, Logistics, and other relevant departments, and follow up delivery and payment milestones.

• Coordinate with Procurement on sourcing, cost, and lead time.

• Maintain bid records, pricing references, win/loss records, and project references for future tenders.

• Prepare regular bidding pipeline and bid-result reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, International Trade, or related fields.

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in bidding, tendering, sales support, or commercial roles.

• Experience in marine, offshore, oil & gas, or industrial equipment is preferred.

• Familiarity with bid bonds, performance bonds, and online bidding portals.

Skills

• Good spoken and written English.

• Ability to read and understand tender documents, specifications, and commercial terms.

• Proficient in Excel and Word, with good commercial and cost-calculation skills.

• Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under tight deadlines.
