We specialize in building dedicated offshore teams for our partners in Australia. By joining a specific team, you will work directly with our Australian partner and become an integral part of their daily operations, collaborating closely with their employees and stakeholders.

We looking for Australian Tax Accountant

• Assist and work directly with our Australian Partner, a Melbourne-based Tax Agent Firm.

• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) with accuracy and compliance.

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records in Xero.

• Process, prepare and manage bank reconciliations.

• Support month‑end and year‑end financial processes.

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure correct account coding

• Create and maintain compliance workpapers using Excel to support tax filings.

• Process weekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll in accordance with Australian Fair Work and ATO requirements.

• Manage superannuation, leave entitlements, and PAYG withholding.

• Collaborate with team members to enhance tax knowledge and operational efficiency.

• Stay updated on changes in taxation law and how these impact compliance and reporting.

• Support the Australian team with any required tax-related inquiries or issues.

• Minimum of 2 year of relevant experience in Australian tax accounting.

• Proficient in using Xero accounting software.

• Strong understanding of tax principles, including debits and credits.

• Demonstrated high academic scores at the tertiary level.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience with BAS, income tax returns, and compliance workpapers.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.

• Desire to learn and share knowledge with team members.
