You have built teams that can walk into a customer meeting, diagnose a Signal Integrity issue in real time, and leave with a plan that actually works. You do not manage from a distance. You are technical enough to challenge your team's approach, commercial enough to understand what moves revenue, and strategic enough to see where the market is heading before your competitors do.

Leading across geographies does not intimidate you. You have managed teams in multiple countries, navigated time zones, built processes that scale without becoming bureaucratic, and hired people who do not need to be in the same building to trust each other. You know the difference between a team that reacts to customer escalations and one that prevents them, and you have built the latter.

At Synopsys, you will lead the non-Americas application engineering organization supporting SI, PI, and Thermal solutions. The customers are demanding, the problems are real, and the team you build will determine whether those customers choose us or someone else.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and scale the non-Americas application engineering team supporting Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, and Thermal solutions across APAC, EMEA, and other regions outside North America

Set technical direction and strategy for how your AE organization engages customers on complex semiconductor design challenges, from early evaluation through production deployment

Drive customer discovery, opportunity qualification, and technical sales campaigns that result in design wins and revenue growth

Build and manage a team of senior application engineers and AE managers who can operate independently with customers and deliver results without constant oversight

Partner with sales, product, and R&D teams to align customer needs with product roadmaps and ensure your team has what they need to win

Own customer escalations and technical roadblocks that require senior leadership engagement, working directly with customers when the stakes are high

Travel regularly across your region to build relationships with key customers, assess team performance in the field, and represent Synopsys at executive-level technical discussions

What You'll Need

15+ years in application engineering, technical sales, or customer-facing roles within the EDA or semiconductor industry, with at least 5 years leading teams at a senior level

Deep expertise in Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Thermal analysis, or related domains, you need to be credible in a room full of customer engineers discussing design tradeoffs

Proven track record managing geographically distributed teams across multiple countries, with experience hiring, developing, and retaining senior technical talent

Experience driving new business acquisition, competitive displacement, and technical sales campaigns that resulted in measurable revenue impact

Strong understanding of 3D IC technologies, advanced packaging, and the broader semiconductor design ecosystem

Willingness and ability to travel extensively across your region, up to 40% of the time

Experience working across EDA and multi-physics solution spaces is a strong plus, particularly familiarity with how Synopsys and Ansys solutions integrate in customer workflows

You treat your team's development as seriously as customer wins, because you know that one enables the other

You will lead the non-Americas application engineering organization focused on SI, PI, and Thermal solutions. This team supports customers across APAC, EMEA, and other regions, working closely with sales, product, and R&D teams to drive adoption of Synopsys' 3D IC and advanced packaging portfolio. The organization is scaling to meet growing customer demand and market opportunity, and you will play a central role in shaping how that growth happens.
