Get to Know the Role

You'll lead our payments analytics team, collaborating directly with Product, Engineering, Design, Business, and Data Science partners to define data strategies, track ecosystem metrics, and unlock actionable growth levers. You'll evaluate the viability of new payment features and provide high-impact recommendations to senior leadership. You'll report to the Senior Manager, Financial Services and will be based onsite at Grab One North Singapore office, and offers significant scope to shape product analytics and mentor high-caliber analysts.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You will formulate hypotheses and model business opportunities to solve key payments challenges, adapting in-production models across regional markets to accelerate product velocity.

You will partner with product and engineering teams to design, execute, and evaluate controlled experiments that directly determine product rollout decisions.

You will build advanced statistical and econometrics models

(e.g., mixed-effects, causal inference, and anomaly detection) to measure user behaviors and monitor product health.

You will establish analytics and measurement standards, guiding the creation of internal analytics frameworks and tools that streamline data summarization and debugging for cross-functional partners.

You will mentor and develop analytics team members, establishing strong statistical rigor, technical capability, and best practices across the team.

You will direct the team's adoption of GenAI workflows

(e.g., natural language to SQL, automated exploratory data analysis, and report generation) to increase operational efficiency and embed AI-assisted analytics into daily operations.

Skills you need

What Essential Skills You Will Need

At least 7 years of experience in product analytics, business analytics, or data strategy, dealing with large-scale, high-velocity data in fintech, banking, or consumer tech platforms.

At least 2 years of experience managing or mentoring analytics professionals across distributed or regional teams.

Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation, alongside hands-on expertise building dashboards in business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.

Hands-on experience in Big Data frameworks and scripting

(e.g., Python, PySpark, Spark) for data transformation and statistical analysis.

Practical expertise in experimental design

(A/B testing, multivariate testing, causal inference) within a fast-paced production environment.

Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantitative findings into strategic roadmaps and business decisions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You have experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and contribute new ideas.
