Position: Trading Manager – Agricultural Products

Location: Vietnam

Job Description:

VIRA is looking for an experienced Trading Manager to manage the full trading process of agricultural products, from sourcing and purchasing in Vietnam to sales and shipment to overseas customers, initially focusing on flowers and fresh agricultural products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase flowers/agricultural products directly from farms, farmers and cooperatives.

• Develop and maintain a reliable supplier network in Vietnam.

• Negotiate purchase prices, quality, quantity and payment terms.

• Work directly with Russian customers/buyers, negotiate selling prices and commercial terms.

• Manage the complete trading process: purchase → packing → export → shipment → buyer.

• Coordinate with farms, packhouses, logistics providers and export service providers.

• Prepare/coordinate Invoice, Packing List, labels/stickers and other trading documents.

• Understand and coordinate CO, Phytosanitary and customs documentation.

• Monitor transaction costs, selling prices and trading margins.

• Handle commercial issues and ensure smooth execution of each shipment.

Requirement

Requirements:

• Proven experience in agricultural commodity trading, preferably flowers, fruits or vegetables.

• Practical experience purchasing directly from farms/farmers/cooperatives.

• Existing agricultural supplier network in Vietnam is a strong advantage.

• Experience working with packhouses and exporters.

• Strong commercial negotiation and trading skills.

• Good understanding of export documentation and Incoterms.

• Ability to manage the entire trading process independently.

• Russian — moderately preferred; Vietnamese and English — mandatory.

• Experience with Russia markets is highly preferred.
