1. JOB PURPOSE:

The role ensures high-quality technical services, for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and technical support of dental equipment, including dental chairs, CT scanners, and compliance with the manufacturer's technical standards and company procedures. The Team Leader is also responsible for developing team capabilities, optimizing service operations, and coordinating with relevant departments and manufacturers to ensure timely and effective technical support.

2. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the installation, commissioning, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of dental equipment, including dental chairs, CT scanners, and dental scanners.
• Provide hands-on technical support for complex technical issues and escalated service cases when necessary.
• Ensure that all technical services are performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, technical documentation, safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive solutions.
• Support equipment demonstrations, testing, and technical evaluations when required by the Sales or Marketing teams.
• Develop and implement service schedules, preventive maintenance plans, and service workflows to optimize resource utilization and minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor service requests, technical reports, installation records, maintenance history, and case closure to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Establish and maintain service quality standards, ensuring consistent technical service delivery across customers and locations.
• Monitor recurring equipment issues and customer complaints, recommend corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in service quality.
• Manage technical spare parts usage, tools, and equipment to ensure availability, proper utilization, and cost efficiency.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a technical team to ensure effective daily operations and achievement of service targets.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to improve team members' technical competencies and problem-solving skills.
• Provide technical feedback to relevant departments regarding equipment performance, recurring issues, customer feedback, and product improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, occupational safety requirements, and applicable regulations governing the handling, installation, and servicing of dental equipment.
• Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Medical Equipment Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in technical service, installation, maintenance, or repair of medical or dental equipment.
• Good knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical systems relevant to dental equipment.
• Experience with at least one of the following equipment categories is required: dental chairs, dental CT/CBCT scanners, or dental scanners.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement effective technical solutions.
• Familiarity with equipment installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, repair procedures, and technical documentation.
• Understanding radiation safety and relevant safety procedures for CT/CBCT equipment is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, service manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Ability to coach and develop team members with different levels of technical experience.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting when required.
