We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead our Front-end team in developing new features for Zalo PC/Web and building high-performance web applications.

You’ll be working in a dynamic, fast-growing environment where every decision and line of code directly contributes to the success of the product.

This role reports directly to the Head of Zalo Communication and leads a Front-end team of ~15 engineers across 4 functional/vertical teams.

• Define and drive the Front-end technical strategy and architecture for Zalo PC and Zalo Web;
• Contribute directly to product strategy: work closely with Product team to define product strategy, direction and execution plan;
• Ensure high standards in code quality, performance optimization, scalability, and security;
• Supervise performance tuning and user experience optimization for desktop and web environments;
• Represent the Front-end team: serve as the key technical bridge in crossfunctional discussions; collaborate with multiple stakeholders (Product team, Mobile, Server, QC, Security, ...);
• Lead, mentor, and grow the team: build our high-performing team of Front-end developers, including technical and career development;
• Drive impact at organizational level: bring your technical excellence to Zalo group; make impacts at organizational level, not just within Zalo PC.

Yêu cầu công việc

• 8+ years of experience in Front-end development, with 4+ years of experience leading teams;
• Proficient in React stack (ReactJS, Redux, State Management, Functional Programming, Immutability);
• Advanced understanding of native JavaScript ES5 & ES6+;
• Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS;
• Knowledge of modern web development technologies & frameworks based on JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS;
• Expert in developing responsive layouts leveraging CSS and media queries;
• Experience working with Databases, Networks, especially high-load environments;
• High ownership mindset, attention to detail, pragmatic decision-making, and a strong focus on impact;
• Strong leadership, with a track record of growing high-performing teams.
