• 1. International & Domestic Logistics Operations
• Manage and oversee import and export operations.
• Monitor delivery timelines, shipment volumes, and transportation costs.
• Build and maintain relationships with customs authorities, shipping lines, and logistics partners.
• Analyze logistics performance and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Negotiate and secure cargo bookings across international and domestic channels.
• Collect and analyze costs related to ocean freight, inland waterway, and road transportation.
• Update relevant departments and the Board of Directors on regulatory changes affecting logistics and costs; propose action plans.
• Oversee customs declarations, HS Code application, and import cost control.
• Build, train and manage an in-house team/personnel capable of directly handling customs clearance.
• 2. International & Domestic Purchasing Management
• Manage and oversee the entire purchasing activities.
• Lead negotiations for trade contracts covering pricing, quantity, specifications, technical standards, transportation, insurance, delivery terms, and payment methods.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Handle quality, shipment, and insurance-related claims with suppliers and insurers.
• Analyze purchasing volumes, pricing, and market trends to propose purchasing strategies.
• Train team members in product knowledge, negotiation, procedures, and claims management.
• Source new products based on market trends and customer needs; evaluate and manage suppliers.
• Oversee supplier qualification and update supplier capabilities, product range, shipment timelines, payment terms, and development plans.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing purchasing team.
• 3. Purchasing & Logistics Cost Management
• Take ownership of and continuously optimize all purchasing and logistics-related costs.
• Monitor and analyze total landed cost, including purchasing price, freight, inland transportation, customs-related charges, warehousing and other logistics expenses.
• Regularly benchmark and negotiate with suppliers and logistics service providers to improve cost competitiveness.
• 4. Customer Service
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to import–export procedures and product quality.
• 5. Team & Performance Management
• Organize and manage team workload; evaluate team performance.
• Analyze customer and market needs to propose appropriate strategies.
• Prepare periodic reports for management purposes.
• Perform other assignments from leadership.
• Recruit and develop new staff to maintain a strong, capable team.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Minimum 5 years of experience in domestic and international purchasing and logistics within an import/export environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in international business, foreign trade, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Hands-on knowledge of customs regulations, customs clearance, import-export operations, and transportation.
• Ability to build, manage, and develop an in-house customs clearance and supply chain team.
• Advanced English proficiency and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and work effectively under pressure.
