Characterization and location of the job

Functions corresponding to the category of Senior Technician, of the Senior Technician career, of an advisory nature, of study, planning, programming, evaluation and application of methods and processes of a technical and/or scientific nature, which support and prepare the decision.

Preparation, autonomously or in groups, of opinions and projects, with varying degrees of complexity, and execution of other general or specialized support activities in the common, instrumental and operational areas of action of the bodies or services.

Functions performed with responsibility and technical autonomy, even if with qualified senior management.

Representation of the body or service in matters of its specialty, taking options of a technical nature, framed by directives or superior guidelines, in the various areas of activity of the Embassy of Portugal in Hanoi, in accordance with the characterization provided for in paragraph 2 of article 88 and the annex of Law no. 35/2014, of 20 June.

The cumulative admission requirements are:

• Meet the general requirements necessary for the exercise of public functions, provided for in article 17 of the General Law on Employment in Public Functions, approved by Law no. 35/2014, of 20 June, with the exception of Portuguese nationality, under the terms of article 5 of Decree-Law no. 47/2013, of 5 April.

• Hold a degree or equivalent.

• The selected candidate must have a resident authorization/status in the country and have their situation regularized with the local tax and social security entities, at the time of their hiring.

• What is referred to in the previous point can be proven a posteriori, in accordance with article 5 of Decree-Law 47/2013, of 5 April, within 15 days.

• Knowledge of Vietnamese, English or Portuguese will be valued.
