We are seeking a Senior Embedded/Firmware Engineer (4+ years of experience) with deep expertise in developing firmware for high-performance embedded and AI Edge systems.
You will be responsible for designing and building real-time firmware, BSPs, low-level drivers, and system-level software, ensuring high reliability, performance, and scalability across MCU and SoC platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware
• Develop low-level drivers and BSPs for: ESP32, STM32 series, NXP i.MX series, RK3588 (AI Edge SoC – Linux / hybrid systems)
• Build HAL, middleware, and modular firmware architectures
• Optimize real-time performance, latency, memory footprint, and power consumption
• Implement and integrate communication protocols (SPI, I²C, UART, CAN/CAN-FD, Ethernet, USB)
• Work with embedded Linux systems (RK3588): device tree, driver interfaces, user-space / kernel interaction
• Implement security features (secure boot, firmware authentication, OTA updates)
• Support board bring-up, debugging, validation, and system integration
• Collaborate closely with hardware, AI, robotics, and system architecture teams

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in embedded firmware development
• Expert-level proficiency in C/C++
• Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time systems
• Hands-on experience with:
  • ESP32/STM32 ecosystem (HAL/LL, low-level development)
  • NXP i.MX series (especially i.MX RT1176)
  • RK3588 or similar Linux-based SoCs
• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or equivalent)
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and highly optimized code
• Strong debugging skills using JTAG/SWD, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes

Technical Expertise

• Driver development (peripherals, DMA, interrupts)
• Concurrency, memory management, interrupt handling
• Embedded Linux (device tree, driver model, system bring-up)
• Performance profiling and system optimization
• Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and code review

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in robotics, UAV, or AI Edge systems
• Understanding of multi-core / heterogeneous architectures
• Experience with Rust in embedded systems is a strong plus
• Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, MIPI, CSI, etc.)
• Contributions to open-source or complex firmware projects
