- Database Operations & Monitoring

• Monitor database health, availability, capacity, storage, jobs, and system performance.
• Identify potential risks and proactively prevent production issues.

- Performance Tuning

• Analyze database performance using AWR, ASH, ADDM, and SQL execution plans.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance.

- High Availability & Disaster Recovery

• Operate and maintain Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments.
• Manage RMAN backup, recovery, restoration testing, and DR drills.
• Support switchover, failover, and service continuity activities.

- Incident & Change Management

• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Execute approved database changes and maintain operational records.
• Manage database access, security controls, and audit trails.

- Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain SOPs, Runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation.
• Prepare operational reports and monitor SLA/KPI compliance.

- Cross-functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with Application, Infrastructure, Network, Storage, and Security teams.
• Support deployments, infrastructure changes, and technical knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience, preferably in production environments.
• Strong experience with:
  • Oracle Database administration, RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN.
  • Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
  • SQL performance tuning and execution plan analysis.
  • AWR, ASH, and ADDM.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Good understanding of database performance, availability, capacity, and security.
• Experience with incident management, change management, and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently at the customer's site.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale or mission-critical Oracle environments.
• Experience with MES, Factory Automation, ERP, or enterprise applications.
• Experience conducting RAC/Data Guard failover and DR recovery tests.
• Oracle certification (OCP) is an advantage.
• Experience with ITSM, SLA, and formal change-control processes.
• Good English communication skills.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers.
