Job Summary

We are looking for a Sea Freight Forwarding Executive to manage daily sea import/export forwarding operations and coordinate closely with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment handling and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily sea import/export forwarding operations.

• Receive booking requests and shipment information from customers, agents, and sales teams.

• Arrange bookings with shipping lines and co-loaders.

• Monitor cargo status and shipment schedules.

• Prepare and process shipping documents including SI, B/L, VGM, Arrival Notice, pre-alert, etc.

• Support compliance filing processes such as AMS/AFR/ISF when required.

• Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, and suppliers regarding shipment status and operational matters.

• Follow up shipments until cargo arrival and delivery completion.

• Prepare CN/DN and coordinate payment processing.

• Support accounting team in receivable collection when required.

• Resolve operational issues proactively and escalate when necessary.

• Prepare reports as assigned by line manager.

Must-have Requirements

• College or University degree in Logistics, International Business, Economics, or related fields.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding operations.

• Experience in sea import/export operations.

• Knowledge of shipping documentation and international forwarding procedures.

• Good command of business English communication.

• Experience using freight forwarding systems/software.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong problem-solving ability and customer-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience handling AMS/AFR/FMC/ISF filings.

• Experience working with international agents and shipping lines.

• Experience in Japanese or multinational logistics companies.
