DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Control, maintain, and update documents, Work Instructions (WIs), and procedures for the Weldment site.

2. Control WPS, PQR, and WPQR documentation for new welders.

3. Track equipment calibration and update records for new equipment.

4. Arrange internal training on WIs and procedures for operators every three months, and manage customer Event Specification Forms.

5. Track NCRs and RMAs, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions for major NCRs, including NCRs from all vendors.

6. Review FAIRs and inspection reports from vendors before component delivery.

7. Perform quality control inspections to ensure that products meet required quality and safety standards. Responsible for conducting inspections, checks, and tests throughout the manufacturing process.

• Perform mechanical and weldment inspections to ensure all quality requirements are fully met.

• Check documents for accuracy and compliance with applicable requirements.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, travelers, specifications, and other technical documents to prepare complete and accurate inspection reports/records.

• Perform First Piece/First Article Inspection, receiving/incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.

8. Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline required (Manufacturing / Mechanical, Industrial System Engineer is preferred)

- A minimum of 2 years of related experience is required, preferably in machine shops, assembly cleanrooms, the semiconductor industry, or a similar manufacturing environment.

- Similar work environment in a Manufacturing Industry is a must.

- Having a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certificate is an advantage.

Intermediate written and communication in English.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
