Position Summary

The Quality Control (QC) is responsible for monitoring and verifying product quality throughout the production process, ensuring that products meet approved specifications, workmanship, packaging and customer requirements before shipment.

The role will work closely with factories, suppliers and production teams to identify quality risks, prevent defects, follow up corrective actions and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Production Quality Control

• Conduct pre-production meetings with suppliers to review product requirements and quality expectations.

• Check production readiness, materials, components, hardware, packaging materials and approved samples before mass production.

• Conduct inline inspections and monitor critical production processes.

• Check workmanship, dimensions, construction, assembly, finishing, upholstery, metal fabrication and packing quality, inhouse test.

• Identify defects and quality risks at an early stage and ensure corrective actions are followed up.

• Monitor quality performance throughout the production cycle until shipment.

Final Inspection & Shipment

• Conduct final inspections according to approved inspection plans and AQL requirements.

• Verify product appearance, functionality, packaging, labeling, quantity and carton markings.

• Review inspection results with suppliers and follow up on corrective actions when required.

• Support shipment release recommendations and escalate major quality issues to the Quality Manager.

Factory & Supplier Follow-up

• Work closely with supplier production teams to improve manufacturing quality.

• Monitor supplier performance and recurring quality issues.

• Conduct regular factory visits and verify the implementation of corrective actions.

• Support supplier improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product consistency.

• Ensure suppliers follow approved specifications, quality standards and procedures.

Quality Reporting & Improvement

• Investigate product defects and participate in root cause analysis.

• Follow up corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness.

• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.

• Report quality issues, production risks and improvement opportunities to management.

• Support analysis of recurring quality issues and continuous improvement activities.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degre

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Furniture Technology, Quality Management or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in furniture quality control, manufacturing or sourcing.

• Experience in factory inspection and production follow-up.

• Good understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and materials.

• Familiarity with AQL inspection methodology.

• Experience with wooden furniture, upholstery, metal furniture or outdoor furniture is an advantage.

• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Strong attention to detail, observation and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and supplier coordination skills.

• Hands-on, proactive and result-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple suppliers.

Travel Requirements

• Frequent travel to supplier factories throughout Vietnam.

• Willingness to spend significant time on production floors and manufacturing sites.
