Job Title: Quality Control Assistant

Location: Binh Duong Factory, Vietnam

Contract and shift pattern: Normal working from Mon to Fri

This position supports daily Quality Control activities within a feed premix manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for assisting with raw material and finished product sampling, routine laboratory testing, Near-Infrared (NIR) operation, quality data management, document control, and other quality-related administrative activities.

Working closely with the Quality Control Specialist, Laboratory Specialist, and Production team, the incumbent helps ensure compliance with quality, feed safety requirements while supporting the efficient operation of the Quality Department.

What you'll be doing:

1. Sampling and sample management

- Collect raw material, in-process, and finished product samples according to established sampling plans

- Prepare samples for laboratory analysis and testing

- Manage retention samples according to company requirements.

- Ensure proper sample identification, labeling, storage, and traceability

- Maintain sample inventory and sample storage areas

2. Laboratory activities

- Operate Near-Infrared (NIR) equipment according to established procedures, verify data accuracy, and report abnormal results

- Prepare laboratory reagents, consumables, and testing materials as required

- Record test results accurately and completely

- Follow laboratory safety requirements at all times

- Support troubleshooting and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment

- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents; monitor stock levels and initiate procurement as needed

- Sample registration Management for ELISA

- Coordinate and manage external laboratory testing activities, including sample preparation, documentation, communication with external laboratories, test result entry, test report filing, and payment processing

3. Documentation and data management

- Maintain quality records, test results, and quality documentation.

- Enter quality data into databases and reporting systems accurately.

- Prepare routine reports and summaries as assigned.

- Support document control activities within the Quality Department.

- Ensure records are properly filed and readily available when required.

4. Feed safety and quality compliance

- Follow all Quality, Feed Safety, GMP, HACCP, and company requirements.

- Support implementation of prerequisite programs (PRPs) and hygiene standards.

- Report quality or feed safety concerns promptly to QA Manager.

- Participate in internal inspections and audit preparation activities when required

- Actively learn quality control principles, laboratory techniques, and manufacturing processes.

- Participate in training and development activities.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Department.

- Maintain a safe and organized working environment.

- Support QA Manager in quality-related activities.

What you'll bring:

- Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Fresh graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.

- Up to 2 years of experience in QC, laboratory, manufacturing, food, feed, pharmaceutical, or related industries.

- Experience operating laboratory equipment, operating Near-Infrared (NIR) equipment, supporting audits or inspections are plus points.

- Basic understanding of quality control principles, understanding of laboratory practices and testing activities, understanding of feed safety, food safety, GMP, or HACCP principles

- Good analytical and logical thinking skills.

- Good attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good organizational and time management skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

- Basic English communication skills

- Eager to learn and develop.

- Positive and proactive attitude.

- Strong sense of responsibility.

- Willing to work in both laboratory and production environments.

- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
