Role Purpose

Develop and manage practical daily and weekly production plans for the soft goods workshop. Coordinate materials, capacity and production activities to meet order delivery dates.

We are looking for someone with hands-on production scheduling experience in softgoods, upholstered furniture, plush toys or garment manufacturing, who can independently prepare and adjust detailed production plans.

Key Responsibilities

Production Scheduling

Translate the master production plan into daily and weekly schedules for each production lines.

Coordinate related processes, including fabric cutting, sewing, foam processing, filling, compression, rolling and final packing, as applicable.

Check material availability, WIP, manpower, machine capacity and production constraints before releasing plans.

Balance workloads between processes and lines to avoid bottlenecks, shortages and excess WIP.

Execution and Follow-up

Track actual output against plan and identify delays early.

Work with Production to resolve capacity constraints and agree on recovery actions.

Adjust schedules when materials, manpower, equipment or order requirements change.

Communicate plan changes promptly to Production, Warehouse, Purchasing and other relevant teams.

Planning Data and Team Development

Maintain accurate planning records, capacity references, order progress and WIP status.

Build practical capacity references from actual production results where standard times are unavailable.

Establish clear planning routines, handover requirements and change controls.

Guide junior planners and help strengthen the PMC team’s production scheduling capability.

Yêu cầu công việc

At least five years of relevant manufacturing experience, including three years of hands-on detailed production scheduling in softgoods, upholstered furniture, plush toys or garment manufacturing.

Able to independently prepare daily and weekly plans by production line or work centre.

Practical understanding of cutting, sewing and downstream filling or packing processes.

Experience managing multiple orders, product styles, material constraints and changing priorities.

Strong Excel skills and experience using an ERP or production planning system.

Comfortable working on the shop floor to verify capacity, output and WIP.

Able to work effectively with Production while maintaining clear planning priorities and following up on execution.

Vietnamese fluency and working English sufficient for daily communication and reporting.

For the Supervisor position, experience coordinating or coaching planners is required.
