The Music Specialist provides dedicated instructional support in brass instrument mastery, music theory, and ensemble rehearsals. This role is vital in assisting the Music Teacher, managing music room assets, ensuring a safe learning environment, and leading brass-related extra-curricular programs.

1. JOB DESCRIPTION:

● Coordinate with Music Teacher to prepare curriculum.

● Organize, rehearse, and conduct high-quality brass ensemble performances for school events.

● Provide direct instructional assistance to the Music Teacher during classes, and offer one-on-one technical coaching to students

● Monitor, log, and maintain all music equipment and brass instruments, ensuring the music room is organized and ready for daily lessons

● Design, organize, and instruct music clubs or brass ensembles for the school’s After-School Activity (ASA) program

Education & Qualifications

● Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Music

● Languages: Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Work Experience

● Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching groups of young learners, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in an international school environment.

Working Conditions

● Mondays to Fridays, 7.30 AM to 16.00
