About Articture

Articture is a design-led furniture, lighting and rug brand selling direct to customers across the US and Canada. We design our own products in-house and manufacture with partner factories in China, India and Pakistan, now expanding into Vietnam. We're a small, founder-led team that moves fast and cares about details: quality materials, zero-defect delivery, and products that look as good in the customer's home as they do on our website.

The role

You will be our first Product Development hire in Vietnam and the bridge between our designer, our factories and our customers. You own everything between an approved design and a product that ships reliably, arrives undamaged and makes margin.

This is a senior, hands-on role. You'll spend time on factory floors, not just in spreadsheets. You'll report directly to the founder and work with our in-house designer, operations lead and contract technical designer.

What you'll do

Review and approve technical files before production: 3D models, shop drawings, BOMs, fabric and finish specs

Manage sampling end to end: brief the factory, review samples in person, approve or reject with documented reasons

Define materials and construction for new products across casegoods, upholstery, metal, lighting, stone and rugs

Source and quote new suppliers, negotiate pricing and lead times, and maintain a supplier scorecard

Own landed cost per SKU: product, packaging, freight, duties and damage rate

Set QC standards per category and sign off pre-shipment inspections

Lead packaging development and drop testing to cut transit damage

Turn customer complaints and returns into corrective actions with suppliers

Direct the technical designer on drawings, spec sheets and install guides, and make sure website specs match the product as built

35-45 million VND gross/month, based on experience, plus 13th-month salary

Location

Based in Ho Chi Minh City , with regular factory visits. Some remote flexibility on non-factory days. Must be comfortable with domestic and international travel for work trips.

What we're looking for

- 3+ years in furniture or home goods product development, technical merchandising, sourcing, or a factory-side technical/QC role

- Hands-on factory experience: you've rejected samples, resolved production problems and pushed a supplier to fix a defect

- Comfortable reading 2D shop drawings and 3D models (eDrawings, Fusion 360, Rhino, STEP, DWG) and marking them up

- Fluent English, written and spoken, to work daily with a North American team

Nice to have

- Upholstery construction knowledge: frame, foam density and ILD, suspension, fabric performance specs

- Basic CAD
