About the Position

Maison Interior is an Office Design & Build company providing end-to-end workplace solutions for businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

We are looking for an MEP Technical Designer to develop and coordinate MEP solutions for offi ce fi t-out projects, working closely with Design, Costing, and Project teams from design development through construction and handover.

Responsibilities

● Conduct site surveys and assess existing MEP systems and technical conditions.

● Develop MEP designs and technical drawings for offi ce fi t-out projects, including electrical, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, fi re protection, and related systems.

● Coordinate MEP drawings with interior design, architecture, and other disciplines; identify and resolve technical confl icts.

● Ensure MEP solutions comply with technical standards, building requirements, and project specifi cations.

● Prepare quantity take-offs and coordinate with QS/Costing teams on BOQ, budgeting, and tender submissions.

● Propose practical and cost-effective technical solutions; coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors when required.

● Review technical feasibility, shop drawings, materials, and MEP submissions during project execution.

● Coordinate with Design and Project teams and provide technical support for MEP issues arising during construction.

● Conduct site inspections, quality checks, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP works as required.

● Degre

● Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Building Services Engineering, or related fi elds.

● Minimum 2 years of experience in MEP design or construction.

● Experience in office fit-out, commercial interior, or Design & Build projects is preferred.

● Good knowledge of electrical, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related MEP systems.

● Strong ability to read, develop, and coordinate technical drawings.

● Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant technical software.

● Good coordination, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

● Practical mindset with the ability to work across both design and construction stages.

Working Hours

● Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

● Alternate Saturday Mornings at office: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

● Work remotely on others Saturday Mornings

● Hanoi: 1F, AC Building, No. 3, Lane 78 Duy Tan, Cau Giay Ward.

● HCMC: 2F, AGE Building, 32 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Thanh My Tay Ward.
