Material Man

- Accountable within the PQPOC operations group based onshore for materials control and management, warehousing in Vung Tau Supply Base; materials logistics by air and by sea.
- Coordination with Vung Tau Supply Base, offshore operation/ maintenance team and other onshore support resources, The Material Man shall be responsible for material transfer, consumable/ spares supply chain administration and assisting discipline departments onshore/ offshore with spare parts sourcing/ supply integral to maximizing equipment uptime to sustain an efficient, safe, reliable and cost effective operating facility, within compliance with company and governmental regulations and policies.
- During EPCI execution phase, Material Man will monitor project phase to receive commissioning spares, two years spare parts, capital spares…
- Responsible for warehouse stock control within PQPOC facilities (Utilizing CMMS’s toolsto collate statistics and optimize stock controls is appreciated).
- Responsible as single contact point, manpower services and material logistics. Network/liaise with onshore maintenance/ engineering support personnel to ensure materialprioritization/ ordering, and service requisition is provided in accordance with MSRflowchart, approved procedure.
- Manage and control stock held in warehouse(s), advise supervisors on critical spare partinventory.
- Ensure consumable needed items are identified and delivered offshore expediently.
- Responsible for monitoring of pre-identified min-max stock/ spares level and coordinatedwith onshore materials personnel for automatic order regeneration function.
- Ensures that all Transportation/ Logistical movements are added to the integrated 28 daysplan to identify when to offload/ back load cargo and/ or materials.
- Assist Planner, supporting discipline engineer(s) and Supervisors to develop materialchecklists to identify material requirements for work which need maintenance campaignperiods such as Vessel inspection/ PSV replacement/ major maintenance/ constructionetc... Ensure all materials are well handed over properly, procured and delivered on time.
- Accountable to establish controls for the transportation of Dangerous goods by Sea and by air.
- Support offshore for any other requirement if any
- Any other relevant job as assigned by OM
- Minimum 3 years experience in heavy industrial warehousing and logistics.
- Previous Offshore Warehousing and Logistics experience is an advantage
- Should be experienced with CMMS software such as AMOS, MAXIMO, or SAP
- IATA Certification for dangerous goods logistics and MSDS knowledge essential
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work within diverse team

- PC Literate with good oral and written skills.
