The Chief Accountant plays a key role in overseeing the company’s financial and accounting operations, with a clear development path toward a CFO mindset. In a startup environment, this position works closely with management, investors, banks, and local authorities.

1. Core Accounting Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate transaction records

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and financial reporting

• Handle tax filings and statutory compliance (CIT, VAT, PIT) with external advisors as needed

• Maintain accounting records, internal controls, and asset management

• Coordinate with banks and relevant authorities for routine financial matters

• 2. Business-Specific & Technical Responsibilities

• Support accounting and reporting for transactions with overseas group entities, including Singapore

• Assist with intercompany funding, loans, and capital-related transactions

• Handle accounting for import/export transactions and foreign currency payments

• Support review of tax implications related to cross-border and manufacturing transactions

• Work with external auditors and tax advisors on related matters

3. Shareholder & Management Support

• Prepare financial materials for shareholders, investors, and management

• Support due diligence, audit, and periodic reporting processes

• Working proficiency in English

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications (Ưu tiên)

• Experience with overseas subsidiaries or intercompany transactions

• Experience in manufacturing, import/export, or foreign currency transactions

• Exposure to cross-border tax or complex transaction structures

• Experience working with external auditors or accounting firms
