We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead / Project Manager to lead our software development team in building an IoT platform.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the development team and own delivery of the software platform, including roadmap, sprint planning and milestones.
2. Contribute hands-on to backend and frontend development, and lead code reviews.
3. Translate product requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
4. Work with hardware and firmware engineers on integration between connected devices and the cloud platform.
5. Make architecture and technical decisions, and set standards for testing, documentation and code quality.
6. Set up and maintain development processes and tools, including version control, CI/CD and issue tracking.
7. Manage releases and deployments, and support pilot installations and testing.
8. Ensure the platform follows data security and privacy best practices.
9. Track progress, risks and resources, and report regularly to management.
10. Support hiring, onboarding and mentoring of developers as the team grows.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, including at least 2 years leading a development team.
2. Strong coding experience with Python backend frameworks (e.g. Django, FastAPI) and React.
3. Proven track record delivering web platforms end to end, from backend to frontend.
4. Experience with REST APIs, relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL), Docker and cloud deployment.
5. Understanding of IoT systems, including connected devices, MQTT or similar messaging, and real-time data.
6. Experience running Agile/Scrum teams and using project tracking tools.
7. Fluent English, written and spoken (mandatory).
8. Fluent Vietnamese (mandatory).
9. Flexibility to travel frequently to the company's headquarters in the UAE (mandatory).
10. Available to start immediately (mandatory).
11. Experience with indoor or location-based IoT products (a plus).

This role is based in Vietnam, working on-site with the development team.
