Job Description

• Design, build, and manage multi-cloud infrastructure including AWS, Azure, and GCP using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform and Ansible.
• Set up, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD) to help developers automate code deployment quickly and securely.
• Secure, optimize costs, and manage resources across multiple cloud accounts on a frequent basis.
• Build and support proactive monitoring & logging systems to ensure high performance, high availability, system security, and measure key operational metrics.
• Work proactively and propose optimal technical/infrastructure architecture solutions (infra approach) to best meet clients' business needs.
• Work closely with Japanese engineers, in-house developers, and Solution Architects.

Job Requirement

Must-have:

• Practical experience working with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Mindset and experience in applying 12 Factor Pattern, immutable architecture, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (Imperative vs Declarative concepts). Hands-on experience with Terraform is strictly required.
• Solid understanding and experience in deploying containerized systems, especially Docker and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Experience in setting up and operating automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with Linux OS and a good understanding of Cloud networking.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, shell scripts, Ruby, or Golang for automation tasks.
• Knowledge and experience working with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL.
• Experience working with modern Web Servers/Reverse Proxies such as Nginx, HAProxy, or Traefik.
• Experience working in an Agile team.

Nice-to-have:

• In-depth knowledge of other Cloud Native technologies like Prometheus, Service Mesh.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Experience doing cloud migrations.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Zabbix, AWS Cloud Watch, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK Stack.
• Experience in debugging backend applications (.NET, PHP, Nodejs, Golang, Python, Ruby) is a big plus.
• Experience in deploying infrastructure following the GitOps model.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Good learning attitude, professionalism, and a high sense of responsibility.
