KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR [POSITION]

• 1. Leadership & Team Management
• Provide overall leadership, direction, and coaching to the Vietnam team.
• Set clear business priorities, targets, and performance expectations.
• Monitor team performance and ensure accountability for individual and office KRAs.
• Develop a strong, collaborative, and results-oriented team culture.
• Identify talent requirements and recommend appropriate staffing and organizational improvements.
• 2. Business Development & Market Expansion
• Lead the development and execution of the Vietnam office’s overall business strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, partners, and other market stakeholders.
• Identify new customers, products, suppliers, and business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competition, pricing, and industry developments to identify potential areas for growth.
• Explore and develop new business models and opportunities beyond the existing portfolio.
• 3. Brokerage Business
• Oversee the overall brokerage activities and ensure the business delivers its revenue and profitability targets.
• Strengthen relationships with principals, suppliers, buyers, and other business partners.
• Ensure effective coordination between the Vietnam team and RIMC Head Office on trades, contracts, execution, and commercial matters.
• Identify opportunities to expand the brokerage portfolio and improve margins.
• 4. Local Distribution
• Lead the development of local distribution opportunities in Vietnam.
• Evaluate potential products, customers, channels, and distribution partners.
• Oversee commercial performance, margins, inventory, and operational execution.
• Ensure distribution activities are aligned with the company’s overall strategy and risk appetite.
• 5. Commercial & Financial Management
• Deliver agreed revenue, gross margin, volume, and profitability targets for the Vietnam office.
• Monitor the financial performance of each business activity and take corrective action when required.
• Ensure appropriate commercial discipline in pricing, contracts, credit, and payment terms.
• Work closely with Finance and Head Office on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• 6. Risk, Compliance & Governance
• Ensure all Vietnam operations comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable local regulations.
• Maintain appropriate controls over credit, contracts, commercial commitments, and business risks.
• Escalate significant commercial, operational, or compliance issues to Management in a timely manner.
• 7. Coordination with RIMC Head Office
• Serve as the key link between the Vietnam office and RIMC Head Office.
• Provide regular updates on business performance, market development, opportunities, and risks.
• Ensure alignment between Vietnam initiatives and the company’s overall strategic direction.
• Collaborate with Management, Execution, Finance, Frontline, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth end-to-end execution

Education

Bachelor's degree – Business, Int'l Trade, Logistics, Economics, or related field.

Age

• 40–50 years old.
• Minimum
• 5 years of experience in international trade and distribution or commodities industry/brokerage/trade, with a proven track record of success.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team of professionals.
• Strong understanding of the Vietnamese agricultural sector, including key products, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in English (highly preferred) and Vietnamese.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant industry software.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
