Footwear QA (QIP) In-Charge

[QUALITY ASSURANCE & FIELD SUPPORT]

o Conduct daily quality checks at critical stages (CS1, Pullover, MST) with a focus on upper and component application.

o Verify material and pattern compatibility before assembly (especially heel counter, collar lining, and toe puff).

o Detect and report quality risks early to prevent X-ray failures, wrinkles, and lasting issues.

[PATTERN & MATERIAL VALIDATION SUPPORT]

o Assist in cross-checking that all new materials have corresponding pattern updates (stretch, thickness considered).

o Track pattern version control and record any deviations or risks found during trial stages.

o Work closely with the Pattern and Commo teams to ensure proper material application.

[ISSUE MANAGEMENT & REPORTING]

o Build and maintain a daily defect tracking log including cause analysis (material, pattern, workmanship).

o Support RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and propose corrective actions for repeated failures.

o Prepare summary reports on defects, inspection results, and improvement suggestions for Supervisor review.

o Support data analysis (rework rate, defect trends) to identify improvement opportunities.

[TEAM COORDINATION & COMMUNICATION]

o Facilitate daily communication with Pattern, Upper, Commo, and QA teams regarding detected issues.

o Attend sample builds and pre-production meetings as a QIP representative.

o Ensure that action points from meetings are clearly assigned, tracked, and followed up.

Yêu cầu công việc

• 7+ years of experience in footwear quality, development, or QIP team.

• Strong understanding of upper construction, pattern adjustments, and critical materials.

• Ability to detect quality risks and report them clearly and promptly.

• Good communication skills for daily cross-functional teamwork.

• Skilled in basic data recording and system updates (MIDAS, Excel, tracking sheets).

• Problem-solving mindset and proactive support attitude.

• English reading and basic communication skills preferred.
