Financial Analyst

Job Purpose:
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for inventory valuation, production order controlling, and cost variance analysis within our manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibility is to ensure accurate inventory valuation and provide transparency on production costs by analyzing production orders, material price variances, routing deviations, and monthly closing results. Through detailed analysis and reporting, you will support management decisions and drive cost optimization initiatives.
Job Duties:
Perform inventory valuation analysis and support month-end closing activities.
Analyze production order variances and identify root causes for cost deviations.
Review and monitor material price variances (PPV) and material savings initiatives.
Analyze routing-related deviations, including labor, machine, setup, and overhead costs.
Investigate manufacturing cost variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Support standard cost calculations and cost roll-up activities.
Monitor inventory movements, stock accuracy, and inventory reserves.
Participate in controlling projects and process improvement initiatives.
Business studies, ideally in the field of controlling, finance, accounting or production, or have a comparable qualification.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Controlling, Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, or Manufacturing Finance.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
Standard costing and variance analysis
SAP S/4HANA knowledge preferred
Fluent English (written and spoken), SAP S/4HANA, Excel, Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail and accuracy
