Key responsibilities

• Financial Management & Operations: Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing financial and accounting operations of the Vietnam entity, ensuring full compliance, financial accuracy, and fund security.

• Management vs. Financial Accounting: Maintain parallel accounting for management accounts and financial accounts; regularly prepare variance analysis reports, explain underlying causes, and provide operational analysis reports to management.

• Financial Statement Review: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement audits and reviews to ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and parent company requirements; coordinate external audits and tax inspections.

• Management Reporting & Closing: Lead monthly system closing, monitor report data accuracy and timeliness, drive front-end process optimization, and participate in budgeting and variance analysis.

• Tax Compliance: Responsible for tax filings including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), and Personal Income Tax (PIT); liaise with tax authorities and mitigate tax risks.

• Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Prepare fund plans, monitor cash flow, and liaise with local banks to handle credit facilities, foreign exchange, and banking transactions.

• Internal Control & Audit: Optimize internal financial control procedures, cooperate with internal and external audits, and train/mentor junior accounting staff.

• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with front-end departments, provide financial data support, and drive cross-functional process optimization and problem-solving.

• Team Management: Oversee daily operations of the finance department, work allocation, performance evaluation, and talent development to enhance overall professional capability and team efficiency.

Yêu cầu công việc

Open to candidates from Supervisor to Manager level; responsibilities and title will be tailored to the candidate's seniority.

• Excellent native communication skills in Chinese, priority given to Chinese- Vietnamese candidate. English proficiency is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.

• At least 5 years of finance/accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

• Familiarity with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and local tax laws; holding a Vietnamese Chief Accountant Certificate or Accounting Professional Qualification is a must.

• Prior experience in management vs. financial accounting analysis and financial statement review is preferred; experience in logistics/freight forwarding is a strong plus.

• Proficient in Vietnamese financial ERP software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong cross-departmental communication and coordination skills, with proven team management experience.
