• Build and maintain strong relationships with Cinema Managers and Programming teams at individual cinemas and cinema chains to negotiate film booking terms, including pricing, number of screenings, and other relevant conditions.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the Company and cinemas, handling and resolving issues related to the film release and distribution process at cinemas.
• Monitor, oversee, and evaluate the progress of film distribution to cinemas, and make necessary adjustments to ensure that cinemas maximize the performance and revenue potential of released films.
• Communicate with and provide support to cinemas and relevant external partners regarding film distribution and exhibition activities.
• Update film distribution status and prepare reports for relevant departments on film exhibition performance, box office revenue, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

1. Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Media, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in film distribution, media, entertainment, or a related industry.
• Experience working with partners such as cinemas, OTT platforms, and distributors.

2. Professional Competencies

• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with partners.
• Strong understanding of the film market, audience behavior, and trends in the entertainment industry.
• Effective planning and project management skills.
• Proficient in reporting and data analysis tools related to box office revenue and film exhibition performance.

3. Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle situations promptly and effectively.
• High sense of responsibility.

4. Other Requirements

• Basic English communication skills. Japanese language proficiency is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime or travel when necessary to meet with partners or attend and monitor film launch events.
• Candidates with an established network of contacts in the film or media industry are preferred.
• Preferred: Knowledge of copyright law and regulations related to film distribution and release.
