Job overview

The Director – Cloud Infrastructure is responsible for managing, operating and optimizing the Cloud platform, ensuring that IT infrastructure and services run stably, securely and efficiently, and meet requirements for availability, performance, security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Platform Operations

• Build and manage the operations of Cloud and Multi-Cloud platforms.

• Ensure the availability, performance, scalability and stability of the infrastructure.

• Manage network infrastructure, compute and storage resources, IAM and platform services.

• Organize monitoring, alerting and incident response to meet SLA/SLO commitments.

2. Governance, Security & Service Optimization

• Develop and implement Cloud governance, security and compliance policies.

• Manage backup and disaster recovery (DR) and ensure service continuity.

• Track, control and optimize Cloud usage costs (FinOps).

• Collaborate with related divisions and departments to standardize CI/CD, Kubernetes and operations automation, and to improve service quality.

3. Team Management

• Plan, organize and assign work for the Cloud operations team.

• Train and develop professional capabilities, and manage the performance of team members.

• Establish operating processes, standards and documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure/Cloud, including at least 5 years in a management role leading technical teams.

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP or Multi-Cloud environments at enterprise scale.

• Solid understanding of Kubernetes, containers, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring and automation.

• Knowledge of Cloud security, governance, FinOps and disaster recovery.

• Strong leadership, project management, risk management and incident handling skills.

Preferred

• Master’s degree in a related field.

• Certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Professional-level Architect, CKA/CKS, FinOps Certified Practitioner, ITIL.

• Experience managing hybrid (on-premise + Cloud) environments in a large enterprise or multi-industry group.

• Experience with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001) and cloud cost governance at scale.

Business-level English required. Vietnamese native/fluent required.
