The Creative Team Leader is responsible for providing creative direction and leadership to the in-house Creative team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual and multimedia outputs aligned with the School’s brand positioning and strategic communication objectives. This role focuses on concept development, creative oversight, and team leadership across Graphic Design and Multimedia, and does not involve content creation or copywriting.

1. Creative Direction & Brand Alignment
   • Define and lead the creative direction for marketing and communication campaigns, projects, and brand initiatives.
   • Ensure all visual and multimedia outputs consistently reflect the School’s brand identity, values, and positioning within an international education context.
   • Review and approve creative concepts, visual directions, and key deliverables to maintain high aesthetic and quality standards.
2. Creative Quality & Execution Oversight
   • Oversee the development of creative outputs, including graphic design and multimedia productions.
   • Provide professional guidance and constructive feedback to ensure clarity of concept, visual excellence, and effective storytelling through design and video.
   • Ensure final outputs meet agreed objectives, timelines, and brand guidelines.
3. Team Leadership & Development
   • Lead, mentor, and manage the Creative team, allocating tasks and resources effectively across Graphic Design and Multimedia functions.
   • Support professional growth through coaching, creative feedback, and skills development.
   • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing creative team culture.
4. Project, Timeline & Resource Management
   • Plan and manage creative workflows, project timelines, and team capacity.
   • Ensure creative projects are delivered on schedule and within approved budgets.
   • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and, when required, external partners to support project delivery.
5. Creative Trends & Best Practices
   • Stay informed of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in design, multimedia, and visual communication.
   • Apply relevant and appropriate innovations to enhance creative quality while maintaining professional standards expected in an international school environment.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Design, Multimedia, or Creative disciplines.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or senior creative role with team management responsibilities.
• Prior experience in education or premium / luxury service industries is strongly preferred.
• Backgrounds primarily focused on product-based or mass consumer goods are not preferred.
• Strong foundation in visual design or multimedia production, with a proven ability to develop and lead creative concepts.
• Demonstrated experience in creative direction, concept development, and quality control.
• Solid understanding of creative production workflows across design and multimedia.
• Effective people management, delegation, and project coordination skills.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide, mentor, and inspire creative professionals.

Abilities/ Skills

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills to mentor and lead a diverse marketing team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in public speaking and presenting to large groups.
• Ability to create data-driven strategies by interpreting analytics and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, AdWords, CRM software, and social media management tools.
• Creative and innovative thinking to develop unique marketing campaigns that stand out in a competitive education market.
• Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and events simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage medium to large- scaled projects and communications efficiently.
