Covered Warrant Trader

I. About the Role

We are looking for a Trader to join our Covered Warrant Team. The role focuses on covered warrant market making, pricing, hedging, and risk management activities. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in derivatives trading and a strong interest in quantitative analysis and financial markets.

II. Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily covered warrant market-making activities, including pricing, quoting, and position management.

• Monitor market movements, underlying securities, volatility, and trading activities to support trading decisions.

• Manage risk exposure including Delta, Gamma, Vega, and execute hedging strategies.

• Support covered warrant valuation, product issuance, and lifecycle management.

• Analyze trading performance, P&L, and risk exposure reports.

• Develop and improve trading analytics tools, risk dashboards, and automated reports.

• Collaborate with Risk, IT, Operations, and other teams to enhance trading systems and processes.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.

• 1–3 years of experience in covered warrant trading, derivatives trading, market making, or quantitative trading.

• Strong understanding of options pricing, Greeks, volatility, and hedging strategies.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and risk awareness.

• Experience with Python or SQL for data analysis and automation is preferred.

• SSC’s Certificate in Financial Analysis/Fund Management or CFA/FRM candidates are preferred.
