About this role

• This role owns the product foundation that everything else builds on.
• Use Plankore to perform detailed material takeoffs from US residential blueprints.
• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Perform foundation and framing takeoffs, including concrete, rebar, footings, slabs, foundation walls, lumber, sheathing, joists, rafters, trusses, beams, headers, posts, hardware, and other required materials.
• Provide detailed material specifications including size, dimensions, grade/type, quantity, and unit.
• Cross-reference plans, elevations, sections, structural details, and schedules to ensure completeness.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and assumptions that may affect quantities.
• Perform QA/QC before submitting completed takeoffs.

Yêu cầu công việc

- 4+ years of experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, civil/structural engineering, or a related field.

- Degree from a top-tier university in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

- GPA of 7.5/10 or equivalent.

- Strong experience reading and interpreting US residential construction blueprints.

- Hands-on experience performing construction material takeoffs.

- Strong understanding of residential foundation and framing construction.

- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

- Strong written and spoken English.

- Ability to work independently and consistently meet tight deadlines.

- Willingness to use Plankore as the primary takeoff platform.
