The Business Planning Executive supports indirect business operations through sales planning, channel performance monitoring, data analysis, market intelligence, and process improvement.

The position works closely with Channel Sales and relevant functions to prepare business reports, identify performance trends and opportunities, maintain accurate business data, and improve reporting efficiency through digital tools and automation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Planning & Channel Performance

- Monitor indirect sales performance, channel KPIs, pipeline, forecasts, and achievement against targets.

- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reports for management review.

- Analyze sales trends, channel performance, business risks, and opportunities.

- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Service teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of business data.

2. Market & Tender Intelligence

- Track relevant tender announcements, project opportunities, and public procurement activities.

- Collect and consolidate information from online sources, industry portals, and public databases.

- Maintain and update the tender and opportunity database.

- Provide relevant market, competitor, and customer information to support business planning and sales activities.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

- Collect, validate, and consolidate business data from different sources.

- Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and management reports.

- Provide data-driven insights to support forecasting, planning, and management decision-making.

- Identify and address data quality issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

4. Process Improvement & Digital Support

- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and reduce manual work.

- Support the development and enhancement of reports, dashboards, workflows, and internal business tools.

- Participate in digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.

- Apply relevant Microsoft 365 tools to improve productivity and reporting efficiency.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with Channel Sales, Product Marketing, Finance, Service, and other departments on business planning activities.

- Support business reviews, planning exercises, and other strategic initiatives.

- Support other business planning activities as required.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in business planning, sales operations, commercial planning, business analysis, channel operations, or sales support.

- Experience in B2B, technology, ICT, distribution, indirect sales channels, or office equipment industries is preferred.

- Advanced Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and business reporting.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines.

- Comfortable working with business data and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Power Query, Power BI, or other reporting and automation tools.

- Familiarity with tender monitoring, market research, or web-based information collection.

- Experience working with distributors, dealers, or indirect sales channels.

- Interest in process improvement, digital solutions, and AI-assisted productivity tools.
