About us

JL Cable Detection is a Singapore engineering company specialising in underground utility detection, trial trenches and GPR survey for main contractors, consultants and government agencies. We are building a remote team in Ho Chi Minh City to work directly with our Singapore office. We are an English-speaking company: all work, meetings and communication are in English.

What you'll do

• Draughting of underground utility drawings
• Assist engineers in the preparation of drawings and reports
• Liaise with the Singapore authority on earthwork permits (NCE)
• Follow up on project drawings
• Any other tasks related to projects and/or draughting drawings

Working hours

• Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm Singapore time (7:30am – 4:30pm Vietnam time)
• Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm Singapore time (7:30am – 11:30am Vietnam time)

Yêu cầu công việc

• Fluent spoken and written English is a MUST. Our company works only in English – the interview is in English, and you will liaise with colleagues, clients and authorities in English every day
• Experienced only: minimum 3 years hands-on AutoCAD 2D drafting
• Must have your own access to AutoCAD software
• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Survey or related
• Based in Ho Chi Minh City
• Own laptop + stable internet; able to work the hours stated above (Singapore time)
• Day-to-day communication via WhatsApp
• Self-introduction video required when applying (see How to apply)
• Short drafting test before interview
