POSITION SCOPE

The AR Accountant will join the Company on a nine-month temporary assignment and play a key role within the Finance Department. The position is responsible for managing billing and accounts receivable activities, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time, collections are handled effectively, and revenue analysis provides meaningful insights. Working closely with internal departments and external partners, the AR Accountant will help maintain strong financial controls and support the Company’s financial performance and strategic objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Billing and Revenue Analysis:

- Efficiently manage the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue streams, identifying discrepancies, and irregularities for resolution.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address billing issues and ensure timely collections.

2. Preparation of Management Reports:

- Compile and prepare detailed reports on project financial performance for senior management evaluation.

- Provide insights and recommendations based on thorough financial data analysis.

3. Support for Annual Audits:

- Assist in gathering and preparing necessary financial documents and reports for annual audits.

- Work closely with auditors, addressing inquiries, and providing required information.

4. Ad-hoc Tasks:

- Undertake diverse finance-related tasks assigned by the Line Manager to support departmental objectives and organizational needs.

- Adapt to changing priorities and assist in special projects as required.

Formal Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Candidate Profile

- The candidate should ideally have at least 1-2 years of relevant working experience.

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required, as this role involves frequent interaction with customers and cross-functional internal teams regarding revenue, billing, and collections.

- Fluency in English is a strong advantage.

- Solid understanding of accounts receivables principles, practices, and procedures.

- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
