AI Data Labeling Intern (Construction/Architecture Background), you will join the AI-Powered Takeoff Team in Vietnam, working alongside a passionate in-house AI team to label, annotate, and classify data that directly powers our AI models. Your work will be at the heart of transforming technical drawings (PDFs, CAD files, and blueprints) into actionable data - and the quality of what you label shapes the intelligence of what we build. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

AI-Powered Takeoff is an intelligent construction TakeOff platform designed to automate material quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings. By leveraging computer vision, machine learning, and the system extracts, measures, and categorizes building components directly from digital blueprints PDF, significantly reducing manual effort, errors, and turnaround time.

The objective of AI-Powered Takeoff is to

• Automate quantity detection from drawings
• Assist with measurements (length, area, count, volume)
• Organize extracted quantities in structured formats
• Support revision comparison
• Reduce manual tracing effort

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Review structural drawings and engineering documents.
• Understanding of material quantity takeoff and construction estimating principles
• Label and annotate structural elements in drawings for AI training purposes.
• Identify basic structural components such as walls, beams, openings, framing & hardware elements.
• Support AI-based takeoff and drawing analysis tasks.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure annotation accuracy.
• Follow labeling guidelines and maintain consistency across datasets.

• Skill Requirements
• Recent graduate or final-year student in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of structural drawings and construction documents.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam or similar tools is a plus.
• English reading skills sufficient to understand technical documents.
• Other requirements (nice to have)
• Prior experience in quantity takeoff, BIM, or data annotation is an advantage but not required.
• Interest in AI, construction technology, or digital engineering.
