Job Purpose

The Accounts Payable (AP) Leader is a hands-on position responsible for overseeing daily AP operations and maintaining day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting entries in Microsoft Dynamics Navision as well. This role ensures accurate recording and reconciliation, timely supplier payments, legal compliance of input e-invoices via the Tax Authority portal, and effective control of operational and service costs (Land Cost). Additionally, the AP Leader supervises the AP team to optimize cash flow while maintaining strict adherence to internal controls and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• AP Operations & Payment Management: Oversee weekly Accounts Payable operations, ensuring accurate invoice processing and timely payments to suppliers.

• Tax Portal & E-Invoice Compliance: Reconcile e-invoices with the General Department of Taxation portal (hoadondientu.gdt.gov.vn) to verify legal validity and ensure accurate input VAT recording.

• Expense & Supplier Reconciliation: Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to review supporting documents, reconcile statements, and resolve payment discrepancies effectively.

• Reconcile booking details from the booking system with supplier invoices to ensure accurate costing prior to payment.

• Compliance & Financial Reporting: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, accounting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations (VAT, CIT, FCT); prepare AP aging and expense analysis reports for month-end/year-end closing.

• Team Supervision: Supervise, guide, and support the daily performance and operational workflows of AP team members.

• Ad-hoc Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant.

• 5–10 years of accounting experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365/Navision, SAP, or similar systems) is a strong plus

• Mature, careful, and detail-oriented; focused on effectiveness at work

• Proficient in MS Office and willing to work hard under tight deadlines

• English proficiency is a must (write, read, converse)

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
