Your main activities

  • Develop back-end APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and/or Go — both are used across our new projects.
  • Design and work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) — schema, migrations, queries.
  • Integrate with third-party service providers over REST and SOAP, and make those integrations resilient when the provider is slow or down.
  • Work with Kafka for asynchronous processing and event-driven flows.
  • Develop user interfaces in JavaScript / TypeScript / HTML5 / CSS3 using Angular or ReactJS, responsive on desktop and mobile browsers.
  • Consume your own APIs from the client, including streaming responses where results arrive progressively rather than all at once.
  • Work with shared packages in a monorepo — shared business logic, generated API clients and a design system.
  • Test, commit and integrate your code with our online products.
  • Work as part of an AI agent team — set up and run AI agents that implement, review and verify work under your direction.
Your Skills and Experience

Your Skills and Experience

You do not need to be equally strong on both sides. You do need to be genuinely productive on both — able to take a feature from the database to the screen without handing it over halfway.

Back-end

  • Experienced with Java (Spring Boot, Java 17+) and/or Go. Strong in one and willing to work in the other is fine; strong in both is better.
  • Solid understanding of REST API design, and of documenting an API as a contract (OpenAPI).
  • Working knowledge of relational databases — transactions, indexing, and why a query is slow.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs: timeouts, retries, and knowing which operations are safe to retry and which are not.

Front-end

  • Experienced with Angular or ReactJS and TypeScript. Being able to work in both is a big plus — we run both, and people who move between them are the ones who see the pattern instead of the framework.
  • Experience with micro-frontends — module boundaries, independent deployment, and the versioning and caching problems that come with them.
  • Solid HTML5 / CSS3 and responsive layout skills.
  • Experience handling server state properly (TanStack Query, SWR, RxJS or similar) — not everything in a global store.
  • Experience building forms and data tables at real complexity — validation, server-side errors, multi-step flows.
  • Awareness of accessibility and keyboard interaction as a default, not a retrofit.
  • A product mindset about UI/UX. You care how the screen actually feels to use, and when a design or a requirement looks wrong you say so instead of building it silently. We would rather have the argument before the sprint than the rework after it.

General

  • Comfortable with automated testing on both sides as part of your normal workflow, not as a separate phase.
  • Strong interest in software design, programming and testing.
  • Prefer immediate employment.

Working with AI — required, not optional

  • Proficient, hands-on experience with AI coding agents in daily development work.
  • Able to set up an AI agent team — define agent roles, skills and gates so a feature can be split across several agents and still come back consistent.
  • Proficient in prompt engineering — you can turn a vague requirement into instructions an agent executes reliably, and keep it on the project's conventions.
  • Experience setting up an agent harness: project-level instruction files, custom commands and skills, sub-agents with scoped tools and permissions, hooks for the rules that must always hold.
  • Loop engineering — you build an objective verifier and let the agent iterate against it instead of reviewing output by eye. On the back end that means unit tests, type checks and architecture or lint gates; turning a rule you would otherwise repeat in code review into an automated check is the core skill. On the front end it means more than "it compiles" — you also give the agent a way to observe the rendered result (for example a browser-automation screenshot or an accessibility snapshot). Candidates who have closed that visual loop are rare and we want them.
  • Experience setting up AI code review — automated review in the pull-request flow, tuned so it catches real defects instead of producing noise everyone learns to ignore.
  • Experience building an autonomous agent team — agents that plan, implement, review and verify, with a human at the gates — is a strong advantage.
  • Critical evaluation of AI output. You can spot a diff that looks correct and quietly breaks a business rule, and a component that renders fine in the demo and falls apart on real data or a slow network.
  • You are empowered by AI — and you are accountable for everything it produces on your behalf. This is the single most important expectation of the role. We want you to lean on AI heavily; "the AI wrote it" is never an explanation for a defect that reached production.

Nice to have

  • Experienced with DevOps activities is a remarkable plus — reading and writing Kubernetes manifests, building your own service's CI pipeline, and debugging your service from outside (logs, metrics, traces) rather than waiting for the platform team.
  • Experience with penetration testing and security best practices is a big plus — OWASP Top 10, authorization checks that hold when an identifier comes from outside, secret handling, and remediating a real finding rather than reading about one.
  • Experienced with Linux.
  • Experience with Keycloak / OAuth2, or Redis.
  • Experience with React Native — some of our shared business logic is used by mobile apps too.
  • Experience with Tailwind, Radix, or building a design system with multi-brand tokens.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing (Playwright or Cypress).
  • Experience in travel, e-commerce, fintech or any domain with money and third-party providers involved.
  • Graduated in Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City is a big plus.
