Job summary:

• The Business Analysis Leader is responsible for leading, developing, and continuously improving the Business Analysis team and BA practices across the company. The role will ensure high-quality business analysis and effective collaboration between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams.
• A key focus of this role is to drive the adoption of AI and modern technologies within Business Analysis activities to reduce manual effort and time consumption, improve the quality and consistency of BA deliverables, and increase overall team productivity.
• The BA Lead will establish BA standards and best practices, coach and train BA team members, identify opportunities to apply AI and automation in BA workflows, and support project delivery, solutioning, and pre-sales activities as required.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop the Business Analysis team.
• Manage BA resource planning, workload, and project assignments.
• Establish and maintain BA standards, methodologies, templates, and best practices.
• Drive the adoption of AI, automation, and modern tools to improve BA productivity and quality.
• Identify and implement AI use cases across requirements, documentation, analysis, testing, and knowledge management.
• Develop and share AI-assisted BA workflows, techniques, and best practices.
• Train and guide BAs to effectively and responsibly use AI in their daily work.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and traceability of BA deliverables.
• Oversee requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and prioritization.
• Review and approve key BA artifacts before delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align business needs with solution delivery.
• Support project planning, estimation, scope management, and risk mitigation.
• Drive continuous improvement of BA processes, tools, and ways of working.
• Build and maintain the BA knowledge base, reusable assets, and AI-assisted knowledge resources.
• Track BA team performance, productivity, quality, and AI adoption.

Your Skills and Experience

Job requirement:

• At least 7 years of working experience in Business Analysis, with experience in leading or mentoring BA team members.
• Strong experience in BA activities for enterprise software systems and projects.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and requirement analysis.
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI/LLM tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or equivalent tools.
• Practical understanding of how AI can be applied to requirements analysis, documentation, process analysis, testing, and other BA activities.
• Ability to develop effective AI prompts, workflows, and use cases to improve BA productivity and quality.
• Ability and willingness to train, coach, and guide BA team members in applying AI.
• Good understanding of AI limitations, data privacy, security, and responsible AI usage.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Good command of English communication skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).
• Strong stakeholder management, presentation, facilitation, and client relationship skills.
• Good UI/UX knowledge and experience.
• Experience in UML, business process modeling, and data modeling.
• Good technical background and understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, and system integration.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and software development lifecycle.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proactive, innovative, flexible, conscientious, responsible, and results-oriented.
• Willing to continuously learn and experiment with new AI and technology trends.
• Hard-working and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related fields.

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting pre-sales, solutioning, RFP/RFQ, or proposal activities is a plus.
• Overseas education or international working experience is a plus.
