• Analyze requirements and design database architecture and technical solutions.
• Support SRS preparation and detailed database design.
• Propose database optimization solutions (indexing, query tuning), assess risks, and recommend mitigation plans
• Write database-related code (SQL, stored procedures, triggers)
• Perform unit testing and document test results.
• Integrate databases with internal/external system modules via REST/SOAP APIs and web services
• Fix bugs and support testing across SIT, UAT, PREPRO, and PROD phases
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure data security and confidentiality.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support for database-related projects.

Your Skills and Experience

Must-have

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in database development
• In-depth knowledge of database design and administration (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar DBMS)
• Proficient in writing SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and automated database testing
• Experience with query performance tuning, indexing strategy, and large-scale transactional data
• Experience with Git/SVN and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Able to work with English technical documentation and communicate with English-speaking clients/BA when required.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in banking or insurance projects
• Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, or team training
